You don't need a local contract, an ID check or a shop visit. A JamboSim Afghanistan eSIM connects to Roshan's network the moment you land: buy it online, scan the QR once, from $4.50 and with no roaming bills.
Roshan is a major Afghanistan mobile operator, with strong coverage across cities and popular travel destinations.
When you activate a JamboSim Afghanistan eSIM, your phone connects to Roshan (or another supported local network) the moment you arrive, no app install, no manual APN setup. You keep your regular number on WhatsApp and iMessage while data runs on the local network.
Roshan operates a modern 5G network across Afghanistan's major cities, with 4G LTE everywhere else.
Buy now, scan once, your Afghanistan eSIM activates automatically when you land.
Tested on the routes travellers actually use, airports, hotels, transit hubs and tourist districts.
Your eSIM picks Roshan automatically where available, and falls back to other supported networks seamlessly.
Most UK and US plans treat Afghanistan as a rest-of-world destination, so data outside your bundle is billed per megabyte. A JamboSim eSIM on Roshan replaces that with one price you pay before you fly.
EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three, and in the US Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile, all charge a daily or per-MB rate for Afghanistan. Your Roshan data runs on a local plan instead, with no bill shock when you get home.
Buying a Roshan SIM in Afghanistan usually means a passport copy, a registration form and a queue at the airport. The eSIM is installed before departure and connects on landing.
You pay in your own currency and our support team answers in English, seven days a week, including install help for Roshan.
