Most travel eSIMs are data only. Our Voice & SMS plans also give you a local phone number, call minutes and text messages, so you can call a hotel, receive a verification code or text a local contact.
A Voice & SMS eSIM works like a normal travel eSIM for mobile data, but it also comes with its own phone number. You get a set number of call minutes and text messages on top of your data bundle.
Your number appears in My eSIMs in the JamboSim app once the eSIM has connected to a network. Your minutes and texts are shown there too.

You don't need a new number for WhatsApp. WhatsApp stays linked to your own phone number, even when your data comes from the eSIM. Keep your home SIM installed for calls and texts to your own number, and set mobile data to the JamboSim eSIM. For many travelers a data-only eSIM plus WhatsApp is enough; choose Voice & SMS when you also want a local number.

Yes. Most phones can use two lines at once. Keep your home SIM for your own number and use the JamboSim eSIM for data, calls and texts on the travel number.
